Acumen Velocity recognizes the need for making education a priority for everyone. We try to work with local communities to strengthen our community ties via our scholarship opportunities. Every year, Acumen Velocity offers $1,000 scholarship to students who demonstrate a strong willingness to advance their educational & professional goals.
Eligibility
Any student attending a professional college or school in 2019 is eligible to apply for the scholarship and will have the opportunity to receive scholarship to be awarded on November 15th, 2019.
Students will be selected based purely on merit, the students have to demonstrate a strong track record of academics, leadership, community development, and personal character. Students who are able to demonstrate a track record of excellence in the above categories will have an opportunity to be eligible to win the award.
Applications are due by October 15th, 2019 and winners will be announced on November 15th, 2019.
Requirements
To apply for the scholarship, submit the items below by e-mail before October 15th, 2019.
> Demonstrate one year of academic excellence via transcripts.
> A 500-word essay on why he/she needs this scholarship and what he/she plans on pursuing for career. In addition, include notable achievements. Must be no more than 500 words.
> High school or college transcripts for the prior year only.
> At least 2 letters of recommendation endorsing personal character. These letters should come from a coach, teacher/professor or manager.
